Soak up the atmosphere and good vibes while the riders battle it out on Ballarat’s roads at the Federation University Road National Championships.
The 2021 Road Nationals gives you the chance to see and enjoy the amazing sights of Ballarat, with something for everyone to enjoy.
To ensure the safety of everyone in attendance, we’ve taken steps to ensure The Federation University Road National Championships is a COVID Safe event.
We ask that all spectators follow directions from COVID marshals and ensure they use QR codes to check in, even in areas where there are no designated entry points.

The perfect spot to sit back and watch as the athletes zip around the time trial course.

Friday 5 February
Sturt St, Ballarat
The Criterium races are great fun to spectate with the riders flying around the short circuit up to 40 times in the Elite Men’s and Women’s races!
It’s a great chance to find a spot to sit a safe distance from others and settle in for an exciting day of racing.

De Soza Park , Mt buninyong
Saturday and Sunday’s action can all be caught from the road race venue.

Community Movie Night
De Soza Park is transformed into an open air cinema on Saturday night after the racing concludes. Showing the family favourite movie, Sonic the Hedgehog and with food vendors and live music beforehand, its set to be a great night.
To abide by social distancing rules, entry to the movie night will be strictly limited, so make sure you come down early to save a seat.

Saturday 6 - Sunday 7 february
MT BUNINYONG RD
Watch as the riders climb to the top the famously tough Mt Buninyong and race to win the title of KOM/QOM .
There’s plenty of space to catch the action along Mt Buninyong Road, so make sure you stay physically distanced from those outside your social group.
